On 20 Feb 2020 we were back outside the High Court to protest against the final challenge from the antiques trade against the ivory ban enacted in 2018. Again, the trade’s new company FACT (Friends of Antique Cultural Treasures Ltd) argued its case, and once again the Court rejected the appeal. Dominic Dyer and Dan Richardson spoke outside the Court.
This small event marked the end of the long fight by the antiques trade to prevent the ban, and the last of our many events to push for it, now that the last threat to it was silenced.
